Casey Anthony tearfully told her parents and her 2-year-old daughter Caylee was the "highest" in the peninsula and predicted they would all be back together soon, according to the jailhouse videos of its meetings, while Anthony was imprisoned in 2008 over the child's disappearance.
These talks were displayed Friday in an Orlando courtroom the ninth day of Anthony's trial for their murder. She is accused of killing Caylee, and if convicted could be sentenced to death.
For much of the day Thursday and every Friday morning saw jury members videotaped jailhouse conversations between Anthony and her family.
Videotapes showed the 25-year-old Anthony cries, chat and sometimes laughs with his family. Anthony told their parents visit in July 2008 she v?rkte comes home from prison and see the child missing. She thanked her parents for all they did and said Caylees birthday – which was about a week away at the time of the call – to her father.
"We all love the little girl," said Anthony.
Prosecutors said Caylee Anthony died from three pieces of duct tape placed over his mouth and nose. A defense attorney for mother claimed toddler drowned in the family pool, and the little girl grandfather helped cover up the accident.
An autopsy has never been able to conclude a cause of death of Caylee.
Casey Anthony waited a month before telling her mother in July 2008 that Caylee had disappeared, and prosecutors said that was only after her parents, George and Cindy Anthony, had recovered a car had driven a Casey. The vehicle, such as grandparents, picked up from the towing vehicle lot, had a foul smell inside.
Caseys Attorney, Jose Baez, said she was molested by her father as a child, George Anthony denied an allegation on the witness stand. George Anthony told also that Caylee not die in his house, and he denied the disposal of her body and place the tube tape over her face.
During a taped jailhouse visit in 2009 supplemented Casey Anthony family in their efforts to find Caylee, tell them to "keep the faith". Anthony claimed that the child had been missing in the 31 days before the police were called in mid-July 2008.
"You are doing a great job, MOM," Casey Anthony said during the visit. "I know it is difficult. I know better than anyone at the moment. You do so much. "
