Casey Anthony trial: Defense to resume the presentation of case in extended Saturday... - Chicago Tribune

Casey Anthony defense team will continue to present his case this morning in what will be an extended day.

Procedures for this morning will begin at 9 am and will last until 3: 30 p.m., several hours of one routine on Saturday.

It is not clear that the Defense called to testify.

Anthony, 25, is accused of killing his 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie in the summer of 2008. We found the remains of the child in December of that year in the forests near House of the family of east Orange County.

On Friday, lawyers again had interrogated mother of Anthony, Cindy and had called brother Lee booth. He also testified the Yuri Melich Orange County detective.

Defense Attorney Jose Baez said Chief Judge Belvin Perry expected to rest its case on Wednesday or Thursday.

After that, the State will spend one or two days of rebuttal testimony.
